What is the definition of a “small business” for this program?
A qualifying small business must use 1.5 million kWh or less for electric and 40,000 therms or less for natural gas.
Small nonprofit organizations and houses of worship can also qualify for this program, based on their energy usage. If you are not sure if your business qualifies, call the Center for EcoTechnology (CET) to get started, and they’ll connect you to a small business vendor who can answer your questions.
